In order to celebrate the release of the new James Bond film, Champagne House Bollinger- which has been an ally of the agent of His Most Gracious Majesty since 1979- decided to create a unique object expressing the ultime degree of refinement and excellence dear to 007. As Jérôme Philipon (President of Champagne Bollinger) explains: " For this exceptional creation, Champagne Bollinger teamed up with a partner that shares the same values and demands of excellence: Cristallerie Saint-Louis." Designer Eric Berthès imagined and drew the “Bollinger Crystal Set". He wanted it to be a perfect case for a true nectar: Bollinger R.D. 1988. It is Champagne like no other, and it ages for a long time on its lees for an aromatic complexity and an exceptional length on the palate. This splendid 14 kilogram cooler is a true collector's item and is limited to only 307 numbered pieces.
