The Millesima team has curated the Italian Discovery Wine Gift Set with three bottles from three different winegrowing areas: Tuscany, Piedmont and Sicily. Each bottle expresses the diversity of Italian wines with different varieties featured, including Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Nerello Mascalase. Sangiovese is known for its balanced nature, bold tannins and acidity. Nebbiolo is the grape variety behind the top-quality red wines of Piedmont, distinguished by their strong tannins, high acidity, and distinctive aromas, often described as "tar and roses". Nerello Mascalese, on the other hand, is a highly regarded, dark-skinned grape variety that grows most commonly on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily.
