Description
The freshness and precision of a Brut champagne with an alluring smoothness and richness
The producer
Located in the heart of Aÿ, one of the 17 Champagne villages classified as Grand Cru, the Lallier Champagne House has been writing its history since its foundation by René Lallier in 1906. Constantly striving for excellence, Réné-James Lallier, the founder's grandson, started a new chapter in the history of the house by carrying out major modernisation work on the wine-making tools in 1996. In 2004, Francis Tribaut, a passionate Champagne producer who advises other fine Champagne references, acquired the Lallier House.
Lallier wines are renowned for their finesse and their authentic expression of the rich and beautiful terroirs of Champagne.
The wine
Harmoniously blending freshness, purity, depth and intensity, Lallier's Cuvée R is the pure and authentic expression of a vintage but also of the nuances of the fine terroirs of Champagne.
Vinification and ageing
Made from 70% wine from the 2018 vintage and 30% reserve wines (2017, 2016 and 2014), this champagne is aged for 36 months. Disgorgement is carried out at least 3 months before release. The dosage of this Brut Champagne is 8 g/litre.
The blend
Pinot Noir (56%)
Chardonnay (44%).
