Description
Originally founded by Julien Misserey in 1930, Bernard Chezeaux founded the eponymous estate in 1971. Jerome Chezeaux joined the family winery in 1987 and his daughter, Lyse, has since started working alongside her father. The estate reigns over 11 hectares of vines, spreading over 16 appellations in the Cote de Nuits, namely Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanee and Vougeot.
This 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru wine by Jerome Chezeaux stems from the "Rue de Chaux" vineyard. This tannic structure of this wine evolves beautifully over time and becomes more aromatically complex with aging.
