2014 Margaux, Second wine of Chateau Lascombes, Bordeaux
This Margaux Chevalier de Lacombes, Second wine of Château Lascombes enjoys the assets of the Merlots and Cabernets (Sauvignon and Franc) optimum ripeness. The 2014 Chevalier de Lascombes of Chateau Lascombes impresses by its density felt on the mid-palate - which is quite uncommon for a second wine. It gives off scrumptious red and black berry aromas. The attack is bold on the palate, which possesses a quite ample but not gripping tannic structure. The whole is mixed with fruits; it proves the straight character of this wine from Bordeaux. The finish is quite lingering. It is a solid second wine.
