Description
A fruity and well-balanced red wine from Pauillac
The estate
In the heart of the Pauillac appellation, the Château La Fleur Peyrabon is an estate with a great personality. On the left bank of Bordeaux, this property has been brilliantly managed by Patrick Bernard since 1998, who takes great pride in producing elegant and refined wines.
The vineyard
Located in the commune of Saint-Sauveur on the left bank of the Bordeaux region, the vineyard of Château La Fleur Peyrabon benefits from a very large sandy gravel terroir resting on clay subsoils, which allows the production of typical crus of the Pauillac appellation.
Vinification and aging
Hand harvesting followed by rigorous sorting and destemming. Parcel vinification in concrete and stainless steel vats. Maceration for about 21 days. Progressive extraction before malolactic fermentation and aging for 14 months in barrels (of which 50% are new).
Blend
Cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot.
