Description

A Vibrant and Full-Bodied Napa Valley Blend

Produced by Robert Foley Vineyards in the Napa Valley region of California, The Griffin is one of the talented winemaker’s most emblematic creations. The label bears the image of a griffin, the Foley family crest and a symbol of his winemaking philosophy. This mythical creature combines the power of a lion with the majesty of an eagle, in the same way that Foley combines different varietals to create his signature blend, which changes in each vintage. The Griffin 2014 of Roberty Foley Vineyards contains 32% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Petite Sirah, 10% Petit Verdot, 10% Syrah and 9% Charbono, expressing the best of Napa’s celebrated terroirs. The fruit is harvested by hand, fermented for 10 days and aged in French oak barrels.

The Griffin 2014 of Roberty Foley Vineyards is a vibrant and youthful blend exuding aromas of red and black fruit, along with rose petals and touches of vanilla. On the palate, this wine reveals a full body, with gently gripping tannins and plenty of fresh berry flavors. Delicious already in its youth, this Napa Valley wine is made to age and develop for many years to come.
