The estate
On the right bank of Bordeaux where most properties hardly exceed 10 hectares, the Chateau Troplong Mondot is one of the largest estates in Saint-Emilion. Founded in 1700, this Premier Grand Cru Classe gravitates at the top of the Saint-Emilion appellation.
The vineyard
A reference among the great wines of Saint-Émilion, Chateau Troplong Mondot oversees a single 43-hectare vineyard, peaking at 110 meters in altitude. The vineyard is entirely conducted in reasoned viticulture. The vines, averaging 30 years old, are grown on typical clay-limestone soils of the appellation.
