Description
A Luscious Napa Valley Red Blend with Black Fruit Aromas
The Frias Family Vineyard was founded in 1991 by Manny Frias and is the first ever bonded Mexican-American winery in the Napa Valley appellation of California. Today, the Frias family produces a limited collection of wines from the 13 acres of their property that are planted to vines in the Spring Mountain District and Saint Helena sub-appellations. At Frias Family Vineyard, the winemaking begins out among the vines, with very careful attention paid to selecting only the very best quality fruit. The eye-catching label of the Frias "Lady of the Dead" cuvée pays homage to the rich Mexican ancestry of the Frias family, depicting Santa Muerte, a very important character in Mexican culture. In the glass, the Lady of the Dead 2016 by Frias Family Vineyards reveals a deep, dark and intense red color. On the nose, this Cabernet-dominant Napa Valley red blend offers luscious red and black fruit aromas, along with hints of cinnamon and spices. The wine coats the palate with its juicy, ripe plum flavors and blackberry touches, finishing with smooth, sweet tannins. A fantastic Napa Valley red blend from Frias Family Vineyard.
