Description
Made from 100% Ansonica (also known as Inzolia) the Firriato Chiaramonte is a bright, fragrant white from western Sicily, where the Ansonica grape is important and widespread. Fermented for a period of approximately three weeks at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks and then aged for three months on the lees prior to two months in bottle before release, the Firriato Ansonica is a delicious, lively Sicilian white. It shows a typical array of bright, tropical fruits along with hints of Mediterranean herbs.
