Description

The smoothness and balance of a Margaux red wine

The estate

With its elegant neoclassical style, the Château Labégorce is a property of the Margaux appellation renowned for several centuries for the quality of its wines. In 1989, the Perrodo family acquired this vintage and infused the property with a beautiful energy to restore all its brilliance by making this great terroir of the left bank of Bordeaux shine.

The vineyard

This Château Labégorce 2023 is a Margaux wine from a 62.5 hectare vineyard in AOC Margaux. The vines are planted on sandy-gravelly, sandy-loamy and clay-limestone soils typical of the Margaux appellation.

Vinification and ageing

Manual harvest. Vinification in thermoregulated concrete vats. Ageing for 12 months in barrels (35% new, 65% one wine).

Blend

This Château Labégorce 2023 is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
