Made from a blend of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) and Petit Verdot (5%), the Chateau Branas Grand Poujeaux 2018 offers a sublime expression of the terroir of Moulis-en-Medoc. The aromatically pure bouquet reveals beautiful notes of ripe black fruit, chocolate and hints of herbs. On the palate, the wine displays a great and powerful texture with beautifully crunchy fruit. The fine-grained tannins coats the palate, which stretches with purity and freshness into a remarkably long finish. A very nice vintage of Chateau Branas Grand Poujeaux, harmonious and promising a beautiful evolution in the bottle.
